JavaScript is a script employed in HTML documents and enables webpages to be more interactive. This script is primarily used when HTML cannot achieve these more dynamic features. JavaScript is a scripting language, while Java is a programming language. As a programming language, Java creates applications that run in a virtual machine or browser.
