Welcome future leaders!
Hello! Welcome to Colorado State University Libraries. During your library session you will learn how to navigate through the world of libraries and feed your intellectual curiosity. Jimena will be your guide, so put on your thinking caps and let's get started.
What is renewable energy?
Energy sources that are continually replenished. These include energy from water, wind, the sun, geothermal sources, and biomass sources. In contrast, fuels such as coal, oil, and natural gas are non-renewable. Once a deposit of these fuels is depleted it cannot be replenished. Both renewable and non-renewable energy sources are used to generate electricity, power vehicles, and provide heating, cooling, and light.
What kinds of renewable energy sources exist?
Hydropower, wind power, solar power, geothermal power, and biomass power
Ready, set, go!
Use the tabs above to learn more about each renewable energy source and navigate through recommended websites and ebooks.
Good luck,
Jimena
