Research Guides for Specific Classes

Below is a list of the Research Guides created for specific courses. The Natural Resources Librarian worked with the faculty teaching these classes and developed the pages based on: research outcomes, student needs, and the ACRL STS Information Literacy Guidelines.

If you are a faculty member and would like to work with Allison or if you would like a research guide for your class, contact Allison Level .

If you are a student in a class and you don't see a research guide below, go to the Natural Resources Research Portal, or look for a research guide in your subject area. Please contact Allison Level if you have a research question.

Off-Campus Library Access, in Summer

Graduate students have 2 summer options with regard to Library Access. Their choices are:

1. Full library privileges: includes, 6-month monograph checkout, access to a locker, laptop checkout, access to remote databases and privileges in Interlibrary Loan.

2. Minimal library privileges: includes 6-month monograph checkout ONLY.

In order for graduate students to have the full library privileges, they need to:

I. Enroll in Continuous Registration (CR) credit for the summer.  A CR graduate student will be added to the libraries patron update and will get the privileges in #1 above.

II. Enroll for course as a graduate student for the coming Fall Semester.  A fall-enrolled student will also be added to our database via patron update and will get the privileges in #1 above.

If you enrolled for fall or have paid for the CR credit for summer and are having problems with off-campus access, contact the Access Services Department.

The CR continuous registration is a Graduate School policy. Information about CR can be found from:
