Journals & Newspapers
Location tips:
For those items that we physically have in Morgan Library, check the catalog for locations. Current issues and those from the last two years generally are located in the Journal Room. Older issues may be in microtext in the journal room, bound in volumes in the basement, or in storage. Newspapers are generally kept on the shelf until we receive microtext. Again, check the Sage catalog record for more details.
Finding tips:
To find a journal title in the library, type in the journal/newspaper name in the citation linker form available via the Research Database page (look for the "find an article from a citation" link). This will let you know if we have the journal full-text whether in print or in a database. If the title is unavailable through an electronic resource, citation linker results provide other options such as document delivery via interlibrary loan. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact the Information Desk or business librarian.
In the box to the left is a sampling of popular business titles and their locations. Many titles and sources are available in the business databases. In particular check Lexis/Nexis Academic Universe and Business Source Premier. For an extensive listing of newspapers and their location, see the Newspapers and News Sources guide.
