Welcome to a New Semester

This library guide will provide links to recent news about the CSU Libraries, updates about changes to most-frequently used resources, and other information.

Suggestions for Book  Purchases:  If you have suggestions for books that the library should purchase, please email your titles to Allison Level.  The library has moved to a "patron driven model" for purchasing books. If you would like a book purchased, please let me know.

Instruction & Research: The Libguides (library guides) for natural resources have been updated and there is an new Natural Resources Advanced Research page which includes links to JCR, impact factor, RSS, and more.   Would you like a Libguide created specifically for your class? That is possible!

E-books: The library is purchasing more books electronically. We have books from several science publishers and the online format makes it easy to search a 400 page book in seconds.  library guide for E-books

Databases & Journals:   Web of Science has a new interface, take a look.

RSS Feeds: This page provides RSS lists of recent new books on selected natural resources topics. Would you like to set up your own RSS feeds for new books? Allison can show you how to set up customized feeds.

Welcome to the Science Cluster Libguide. 

Each librarian within the CSU Libraries Science Cluster serves as the primary library contact for a group of departments and also acts as the College Liaison to a specific College within the University. Science Cluster librarians also share liaison responsibilities for University Colleges and departments currently lacking a primary liaison.

The Science Cluster currently provides the following services for departments and colleges without permanent library liaisons:

 Questions and service requests should be directed to the Science Cluster email address. This email address is being monitored during business hours, Monday-Friday.
