Identifying Keywords
Once you have a topic, you need some keywords. Keywords are specific words and phrases that describe your topic and tell the database what to look for.
Choosing good keywords saves you time by making your search results more relevant and helping you find a range of perspectives.
TRY IT OUT: Choose a possible research topic and write down 2-3 keywords that describe your topic. Are these keywords specific? Will they bias your search?
Once you have some keywords that you can use to search for your topic, start thinking about what source types you need to find!
