Citing Your Sources
An essential part of any research assignment is citing your sources. By citing, you acknowledge others’ work and choose which voices to amplify. It’s also essential for avoiding plagiarism.

Note: There are many different citation styles, and many classes will require you to use a specific style. Access the Libraries Citations LibGuide for more information.
The library databases also have an option to get draft citations under the “Tools” menu. These usually aren’t perfect but can help you get started. Citing your sources is an essential part of any research assignment!
