Company Research

When conducting company research, determine whether the company is publicly traded, private, or a subsidiary.  The type of company determines how much company information will be available. Generally, there is much more information on public companies because they are required to disclose financial information to the government.

Determining company type can usually be done with a simple Google search or by visiting the company's website. The databases below will also help you determine the type of company.
