Customize 5xx fields

Requests:

We want the following MARC fields to display and be indexed in Primo:

505 ii $t (title index) $r (author index) $a (keyword index) : 505 - Formatted Contents Note (R); Chapter numbers are generally omitted. This field contains a formatted contents note.

520 ii $a (keyword index) $b (keyword index)

561 [first indicator blank, or 1] (author index)

490/830 These are searched and displayed already.  490 - Series Statement (R) 830 - Series Added Entry-Uniform Title (R)

we will need to create a normalization rule to convert the 793s we have to 490/830 pairs. ??? What is 793?

Default Setting in Primo

505 subfield a, t

Activated by default

search:creatorcontrib Field 505 and subfield r

search:toc field 505 a

search:addtitle: 490 and subfield a,v are activated

search:addtitle Field: 830 Subfield: a,d,f,k,l,m,n,o,p,r,s,t,v

Change I made:

Adding additional subfields to search/index

Primo Home > Ongoing Configuration Wizards > Pipe Configuration Wizard > Normalization Rules configuration > PNX Section: Search

505 Added subfield t to search:toc field 505 a

520 subfield a, b. No change since the default search:description: 520 subfield *, includes all fields already

490 subfield x. Added search:addtitle, field 490, x to the existing setting

830 change subfield from a,d,f,k,l,m,n,o,p,r,s,t,v to

are all in default display.  561 and 793 can be added.

After all search fields are added to the normalization rule, run renorm.
