Academic Search Premier is one of our most popular databases. It includes all disciplinary areas and covers both popular and scholarly resources. Includes full text, peer-reviewed journals, PDF backfiles to 1975, and searchable cited references.

Web of Science (WOS) is an excellent, broadly-focused database that covers all areas of the sciences and social sciences. It is also a great tool for tracking how often and where an article has been cited. This resource is more appropriate for science and social science majors; humanities and liberal arts majors may struggle to find enough resources. Also note: the vast majority (approximately 99%) of articles are peer-reviewed. There is no full-text in WOS, so use the FindIt@CSU button for all articles.

This database provides reference entries (ex. encyclopedia entries, overviews, etc.--think of it as an academic wikipedia). Use it to get background information about a topic or potential topic. These reference entries are typically considered credible, but they are not considered peer-reviewed or research articles (for students who have requirements for their assignments).
