Colorado Grow Youth Institute
The Colorado GROW Youth Institute empowers Colorado high school students to explore food security challenges across the world. Students connect with peers and leaders across the state to explore, research, and propose solutions to solve food insecurity and hunger at home and around the world.

Participants in the Colorado GROW Youth Institute complete the World Food Prize Foundation’s Global Challenge curriculum, which is designed to empower high school students to explore, analyze and solve the world’s most pressing problems related to global food security, agriculture, and sustainability issues. To participate, students write a 3 – 5 page research paper on a country and food security related topic. Each student will then register to present their research at the Colorado GROW Youth Institute. We believe that elevating young voices is crucial to creating a more food-secure and sustainable world, and we want to hear your solutions!
