To see if a journal is peer-reviewed, search for the journal in Ulrich's (link above). If the little referee jersey icon appears next to the journal title, the journal is refereed (or, peer-reviewed).

Note that not all items in peer-reviewed journals are subject to review. Letters to the editor, opinion pieces, book reviews, and other commentary pieces are not peer-reviewed.
