Finding Books
Use Primo (the default search on the homepage) to find books. You can search from the library homepage, or use the box below. You may want to change the "Almost Everything" drop-down to "Books and more" to limit your search to books. If you don't find what you are looking for at CSU Library, you can also search Prospector (regional Colorado catalog) or WorldCat (most US libraries and some international). You can borrow books from other libraries for free, and they are typically sent to the Morgan Library Loan & Reserve Desk for you to pick them up. The loan period for Prospector books is six weeks, and the loan period for books outside our regional library system is determined by the lending library.

Search Prospector - Our Regional Catalog
You've searched CSU's library catalog, but we don't own the book you need. What next? Try Prospector!
"Prospector is a unified catalog of academic, public and special libraries in Colorado and Wyoming. Through Prospector you have access to 30 million books, journals, DVDs, CDs, videos and other materials held in these libraries. With a single search you can identify and borrow materials from the collections and have them delivered to your local library."
Requesting items from Prospector is FREE, and your materials will be delivered to the CSU Library for pick-up at your convenience. You will be notified through e-mail when they have arrived and are ready to be picked up. Typically, requests are filled within 2-4 days.
WorldCat - The Biggest Possible Book Search
To search for books outside of our regional library system, try WorldCat. WorldCat is the largest combined book catalog in the world, and can help you figure out where a book is owned and request it.
- WorldCatCoverage: Varies
