What is a pop-up blocker?
A pop-up blocker refers to any application that disables a pop-up advertisement window.  They often try to close all pop-up windows and this may interfere with your ability to access content.

What can I do about them? 
Pop-up blockers may be disabled via your browser. 

1.  Open FireFox

2.  Go to Tools at the top of the browser

3.  Select "Options".  This will open the Options box.

4.  From the top menu of the Options box, select "Content"

5.  Uncheck the box for "Block Pop-Up Windows"

1. At the top of the Safari browser menu, select "Safari".

2. Then, make sure "Block Pop-Up Windows" is not selected.

You can allow all pop-ups by disabling the pop-up blocker. Follow these steps:

1. Click the wrench icon on the browser toolbar.
2. Select Options (Preferences on Mac and Linux; Settings on a Chromebook).
3. Click the tab.Under the Hood
4. Click Content settings in the "Privacy" section.
5. In the "Pop-ups" section, select "Allow all sites to show pop-ups." Customize permissions for specific websites by clicking Manage exceptions.
